J.M. Black originates from the beautiful green state of Oregon. Growing up in the state's Southern region, she developed a passion and a sense for fiction.

She self-published The Great Scheme of Things on amazon.com, ahs been published in Blood Moon Rising Magazine, Write Naked, and was a frequent writer for Veritas News, where she also served as the publication's Copy Editor. She has also written a number of unpublished full-length novels and short sotries, totalling to over 60.

Black recently graduated from Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, MA with a BA in Journalism & Writing. While continuing to pursue creative writing, she's a freelance writer and is the Copy Editor for Southern Oregon Magazine and Las Vegas Golf & Leisure Magazine.

She hopes to inspire as well as cultivate a style of writing that is both unique and intriguing to the reader.
